Acting, Cafes and Chickens.
Last night was acting class night. It was also the beginning of the auditions for "1984." I didn’t feel ready to audition for any role partly because I can’t commit to regular auditions but mainly because I couldn’t be bothered. The process of having to learn lines and readily attend rehearsals is not where I am right now. Home life is a priority and that’s just the way it is.
I was in Kings Heath briefly today due to meeting my line manager. I took the opportunity of stepping inside the Kitchen Garden Cafe. It is a great looking little cafe/restaurant with a good selection of food. It’s even got a bookcrossing section so there is always something interesting to read whilst eating and then if you wish take the book home. I ordered a slice of chocolate cake and I was presented with the biggest slab I had ever seen. This was only due to the fact that it was the last bit of that particular batch and the waiter didn’t want it going stale. I was on a state of sugary high for the rest of the day.
Mulder & Scully are becoming rather bold and tomorrow we shall be letting them out of their run and see how they deal with the open space of the garden. I am slightly apprehensive but we feel confident enough to handle them should they get over excited.
