It’s a Wonderful Garden
Christmas was a lovely time of rest. A good feed was had and lovely gifts received. Yesterday, time was spent in the garden playing Trivial Pursuits (won by me in a non-competitive manner) whilst keeping a watch on the chickens and Aslan the Hoppy One.
It was wonderful to look at the little poultry farm that exists in the garden. Scully, Treacle and Toffee had their Christmas treats which included foraging through scraps of vegetable peelings and a tray of grass. There was once a lawn but the girls destroyed it in a rather impressive manner.
Azzie pretty much did what he always does in the garden. Dig, eat the plants and flowers and leave piles of rabbit droppings everywhere. Still, it could be worse. At least Aslan is not a psychotic bunny.
It is a good life but without Richard Briers or Felicity Kendal.
