Elementary My Dear Andy
Lin and I were invited to our friend Andy’s birthday celebrations last night. He wanted a very low key affair so he decided to have a board game evening. He only invited us and so we felt very honoured that he picked us to spend time with him and his wife.
We played 221B Baker Street, a board game where the object is to be the first to solve a series of murder cases that have been written in the style of Conan Doyle’s famous detective.
It’s a rather fantastic game as it does actually require one to gather clues and fathom out who the murderer is on the case card. I got rather distracted by working the macro setting on my camera and was rather pleased with the photo I took of the pieces and the board. Anyway, that’s the excuse I am using for not getting close to solving the case.
I’ve started using Twitter. I’m trying to decide how best to use the service. Presently, I’m just using it to project the random thoughts that enter my head like drops of rain. I’m sure the designers of Twitter had much more useful intentions than the non sequitur nonsense in my brain.
