Veronica’s Room

Class Act is a drama centre that offers people the chance to learn about theatre and performance. They are based at the Custard Factory in Birmingham and are currently performing Veronica’s Room by Ira Levin at the Custard Factory theatre.

The tale is an everyday one of psychological torture, sororicide, kidnap and incest. But don’t let that put you off. I saw last night’s performance and I was extremely impressed by the level of professionalism and high standard by the actors who are on the whole non-professional. They have managed to create a real sense of tension, excitement and even humour.

The play is also on tonight (Sunday 16th March). Tickets are £7 and the performance starts a 7.30pm. I recommend taking a look.

Here is a map if you’re interested in going.
