Life on Mars

Space. The final frontier…blah blah blah. I’ll try not to make this post a clichĂ©d ridden one but I’ve already started badly with the title. NASA have managed to land a probe on Mars and the first pictures taken by the probe have been released to the public.

I know that the acquisition of knowledge and exploration is a basic human need but I can’t seem to get excited about pictures involving rock and dirt. I just feel that money could be spent trying to sort some of the mess on this planet that we’ve created.

It could be one huge big elaborate lie in the same way that many people have argued that the moon landing did not happen. I’m not too sure about that. For me it’s a misspent use of resources and human intelligence.
