The World of Leonardo Morgado

…or more to be more precise here I go again after a long layoff as the blog has been left untouched, unloved and abandoned for a rather long time. All I can offer is my sincerest apologies I’ve been rather busy in life and I’ve possessed feelings of indifference towards this blog. But I’ve returned more positive and have found motivation to continue with this little site a bit longer. How long a bit longer is as of yet I don’t really know but I’m sure that when it finally reaches its end I’ll erase this particular bit of cyberspace for good. What have I been up to I hear you all ask or am I being egotistical to think that you waste any of your precious thoughts on me and my activities? Well, if not for any other reason than to fill space here I’ll recount what’s been happening to Mister Leonardo Patricio Morgado.

Primarily, I’ve been trying to earn bread, lucre, dough or whatever term you may use when referring to that sometimes nasty but unfortunately necessary thing that it is money. Money makes the world go round and it has recently caused a lot of rather important people to behave in a rather manic manner in an attempt to stop the banking rot. If you are like me then this whole so called “financial crisis” doesn’t really make much of a dent as I still have to work, pay bills, buy food and if there is anything left over save a little. For a lot of people in this country who are at the bottom of the social and financial ladder then it is pretty much business as usual.  A daily struggle to make a mark on this land but hindered by the fact that being at the bottom of the social and financial ladder means that nobody gives two shits about you.  A sad fact perhaps but nonetheless one that is ignored by those trying to save banks whose rather greedy desire has led them to being in their current state of troubles in the first place. I appear to be on my high horse again and digressing from the subject of this ramble and that is me.

My energies have been focused on a lot of things both professional and private and that has meant that when it has come to writing on the blog I haven’t had much energy left. I’m not wishing to elicit any form of sympathy from you but I’m just offering an explanation as to why this site has remained lifeless for so long. But that is the past and now to think of the future and what precisely does the future hold?

With regards to the blog a more concentrated effort to update it with more regularity and also to try to re-engage in conversation with all of you who read the blog and who I follow on various so called “social media” tools like twitter.  For now, I’ll do a bit of housekeeping and tidy up the site to make it a bit more pleasing to the eye. I hope that there are people who are still visiting this site. I’d like to thank you for sticking with it and I hope to reward your patience by offering something that is worth visiting.
